All About Plus One Jazz Group
Plus One Jazz Group plays an eclectic mix of jazz standards, R&B, original tunes, and jazz remakes of pop, rock, classical, and Broadway favorites. Led by pianist Rebecca Cordes, the band features some of the best professional musicians in the DFW area. Whether it’s a favorite old standard or a unique take on a familiar tune, we love to play music – and we look forward to sharing what we do with you.
Our band is available for events, club dates, weddings, parties, concerts, music festivals, and more. We perform in a variety of different ensemble sizes, so that we can customize our sound to fit every budget and performance space.
Instrumental Quartet
Features piano, bass, drums, and horn. This option packs a lot of energy into a small combo without overpowering the room. Perfect for medium to large spaces, outdoor venues, and events where you want people to dance.
Instrumental Trio
Features piano, bass, and drums. The trio is a perfect option for small to medium spaces, a subdued club atmosphere, or to entertain guests over dinner.

The duo instrumentation includes two options.

Looking to make your event special on a limited budget? The instrumental duo is a great choice. Option 1 provides a louder overall volume, which can be the right fit for larger spaces or outdoor situations. Option 2 is more intimate, which works best for smaller spaces or a more relaxed atmosphere.
Instrumental Quintet
If you’re looking for an even larger ensemble, you may prefer a quintet. This ensemble is a larger version of the quartet, featuring piano, bass, drums, and two horns. This combo has the energy of a party band, while keeping the tune list true to our jazz roots.
